Granted, some members only grind out posts designed to get the consumers attention, not wanting to build relationships here in the Rain. Their blog is completely customer facing, many turn off commenting altogether. The beauty of this forum is the diversity and wide range of professionals.

Looking to get a comment removed because you enjoy 'disagreeing' especially in lighthearted blogs? That wish can be granted, especially when taking the post in a downward direction. Try writing an opposing view to reach an audience on your page.

There's no need to leave a reminder about your selling area when commenting. Several members do this constantly, even after they've been asked nicely to stop. Most are on-the-go, serial copy/paster's anyway.

Avoid acting like you're heads above everyone else in the intelligence department by pompously schooling everyone else, it is a huge turn off. As a past client once once declared, "This industry isn't rocket science" and I refuse to do blustery!Â

Of course, it's your blog, do what you wish unless it goes against ActiveRain's etiquette rules. Then, it's out of your control at that point and will be addressed. Break the rules too many times and say goodbye to one of the best real estate related forums online. Your choice completely.
