A few weeks ago I mentioned that I am pretty much a backwoods kind of guy.
That surprised a few folks as most of what I post looks like a typical Midwest lifestyle in America’s suburbia.
To be honest, I could be quite happy living on the side of a mountain or in the middle of the forest without public utilities.
Since that will never happen…I still try to live life in a somewhat simple manner.
Today I was on the road meeting with one of my agents and texted my wife I was going to stop at Sam’s to get gas and asked if she needed anything.
She suggested that I grab a baked chicken if they had one. I checked and they did have some that were cooked and boxed about an hour ago.
The next batch will be done about 3:15…in 10 minutes. when I first checked it was 28 minutes so I sat down for a cinnamon pretzel and a soft drink. That was 10 minutes ago .
So what do I do for 20 minutes…well, I did do blog on my phone last month…so why not try it again?
Here is the results. When the chicken and blog is done… will head 42 miles home and have chicken and corn on the cob!!
I would be just as happy with a bit of protein on an open fire as well. But when you are citified…you make do with what you have.
Laughing quietly because there are a lot of people around here.
So we have done it still 2 minutes left and blog is done!
Until next time…Think outside the box and enjoy life!! Mike
