Paddy Deighan MBA JD PhD, has been a frequent speaker in our Zoom meetings, providing us with valuable insights into the world of AI. He’s not only educated us on the possibilities AI offers but also on the precautions we need to take ~ all while introducing us to some fun exercises along the way!
One of the key takeaways I've learned, which can also be a bit frustrating, is the importance of crafting the right prompts. The computer interprets prompts differently than we might intend, so it’s a process of trial and error to get the desired results.
I started experimenting with AI-generated images using Night Café. I began experimenting with several prompts and settled on this prompt, "A woman looking out the window of her home at a small house in the backyard." After two attempts, I received these two creations:
Next, I tried Bing Co-pilot with the same prompt and received these two creations and one looked like a tiny house rather than an ADU:
Finally, I refined my prompt to: "A woman looking out of the window of her home, seeing an ADU in the backyard for her grandparents to live in." This time, I got this result (which I think is the best):
As I’ve always said, a home is a work in progress, and now I’m learning that working with AI is very much the same!
