AI for 'Rainers

Join and Enjoy
The group AI for 'Rainers is meant to be a fun-filled learning environment. Each week, a topic is suggested and all willing learners try to hit the target with an image. Take a look at Eileen Burns' latest post. You'll see how much fun she is having as she experiments with different options of prompts and different online programs! As EIleen says, "Show us your small and/or large success."
Out in the state of Washington, Carol Williams tackled the prompt from the week before in her post using three different companies. Kat Palmiotti submitted her hard-earned results in a post as well.
This week? Create and image dealing with an ADU.
Seeing what others develop should be interesting. AR member Paddy Deighan has been teaching the Tuesday Zoom Group for several weeks. (See weekly post by George Souto for Members Only link to join the Zoom.)
Paddy has reiterated certain bits of guidance each week. About "Prompts", defined as any form of text, question, information or coding that communicates to AI what response you are seeking, he says that varying the input the second time around will always create change. Mix up the instructions in the prompt and watch things change.
Paddy also stated that each of the AI sites have different strengths. Some are better with images and some are better with text. Perhaps, in comments below, you could share the name of your preferred AI site and what is its strength.
A final warning from him was DO NOT USE AI for research. He's been using AI for many reasons and purposes for years. He was adamant about that suggestion.
For this post, I worked with NightCafe. The featured image above is my second attempt. I rearranged the words in the prompt to "a bright colored office room with five human people sitting or standing at computer desks typing on the keyboards as they laugh and have fun." That achieved EXACTLY the result I had in mind!
The first image that showed up was too Kafka-esque for what I had in mind. The prompt I had used first was
"Five human people sitting or standing at computer desks typing on the keyboards as they laugh and have fun in a bright colored office room." The same words set in a different order gave me a better "fit".
As you see, a little shift in the prompt made a big shift in result. Some members have used other AI options. Some other names mentioned each week are Open AI/Chat GPT, Synthesia for videos, Google's Gemini and Bing copilot/designer.
Have fun trying your hand at the process.
