National Spoil Your Dog Day is all about pampering our dogs and making them feel extra special. It's believed that the origins of this day go back to the early 2000's and it's a great day to spoil our dogs with extra cuddles, treats, toys, pampering.

“Everything I know I learned from dogs.”

– Nora Roberts

“A dog will teach you unconditional love. If you can have that in your life, things won’t be too bad.”

– Robert Wagner

I still have some PTSD from my last dog, Moose.  He was a Jack Russell Terrier, and he was a handful and then some.   I think I have one more new puppy in me, maybe in near future.

Michael Elliott hi Michael... we adopted one puppy some 27 years ago. Since then, we've always only adopted grown dogs of a year or two old. Soooo much easier to integrate a dog of that age into a household.

The first quote is so very true. All of them are, but I can picture myself talking to my dogs. They are both extremely interested in what I have to say. While they both seem to hang on every word, I think they are just waiting to hear the 'treat' or 'bone' words.
