That's true Michael Elliott and I find that their favorites before the showings begin end up not being their favorites at the end of the day, haha.

I think that sholuld be the goal Jeffrey Richman and if perfection is found, that is icing on the cake!

Comments

I think our expectations always seem to be higher than the reality that we experience Michael Jacobs but there are some cases where things actually feel perfect, even if just for a short while, haha.

You could be right Kat Palmiotti, it seems that there is always something missing for things to be perfect, haha.

Good morning, Brian... I am always telling my own clients that unless their name is Bill Gates and money is no object, there will not be a perfect home for them and that if we find a home that meets at least 75% of their wants/needs in their budget we have done well.

Good morning Brian,

I'm convinced no matter how much you have to spend on a house there is no such thing as a perfect house! There is always something that you want to change (even if you build you will forget something). Often buyers have such high expectations which is why they need to know how much they can afford and start looking in that range. Adapting to reality is often hard but soon they understand after seeing some homes. Compromise is hard in the beginning then the light dawns!

Perfection only exists for humans in the eye of the beholder. Of course my Girlfriend knows I am perfect. :)

Good morning, Nina Hollander, Broker I can't believe you have such a foul mouth in public, haha.  Bill Gates is such an evil man.

Good morning, Dorie Dillard Austin TX that's why people move so often these days, it's never perfect, haha.

Comments

Oh, I am sure that she does Jeffrey DiMuria 321.223.6253 Waves Realty, haha.  I hope that you think she is perfect as well.

I know you have Superstition Mountains in AZ, do you also have Perfection mountains?

Comments

Well, we do have the Superstition Mountains Liz and Bill Spear and I look at them every day, but I have not heard of Perfection mountains, haha.

Brian England what a flawless post you wrote, I feel the emotions in each of your blogs!  Great work!

Brian I have seen close, but I don't think I have ever seen the perfect fit in an existing home

Hi Brian:

I've never believed there as such a thing as a perfect home, even as a buyer before I got into the business. One can dream, of course, but looking for perfection is sure to lead to a lot of frustration and a waste of time...and plenty of missed opportunities!

Haha, posts like this don't contain much emotion from me Dick Betts since I am merely sharing an article written by someone who I don't even know, but I am glad you can feel the emotion!

Comments

I have seen what felt like perfect initially George Souto but then inspections occur, haha.

Comments

The missed opportunities are likely more perfect than the home they actually get at times Jeff Dowler, CRS, haha.

Comments

I think that we have all worked with clients who visited a fabulous home...one which checked almost all their boxes... but they opted to keep looking...to find the "perfect" house.

Spoiler Alert: the perfect house does not exist!

Comments

Yes, I have definitely worked with buyers like that John Juarez and more often than not, they regret not pulling the trigger when they had the chance to do so, haha.
