REALTORS and Politics- REALTORS running for office

By
Real Estate Agent with Aloha Realty Group

We just learnt that Bart Mulvihill with Monte Fitts Realtors in Lahaina, has decided to run for Hawaii Senate, for the position that is currently held by Roz Baker. The other contender for this seat is Jen Shields, most famous for her efforts to have a new hospital in South Maui. Burt addressed West Maui REALTORS today, at Caravan and mentioned that his focus will not be bringing a hospital to West Maui, but rather improving the quality of our schools and stimulating local businesses. Also, Burt made himself available to hearing all our questions, concerns and ideas. Bart can be reached at bartonmaui@yahoo.com

Good luck Bart!

Mihaela,

I think Realtors have a definite interest and button on the political scheme. They just all need to remember where they came from once they get IN to office. Good luck to your guy..hope he serves you well.

We need more real estate agent to get involved in local politics.  There are too many attorneys and not enough small business people.
