I love all types of ethinic foods and the Hong Kong Garden in downtown Sonora is one of my favorites to visit.
Open 7 days per week Sunday Thursday 11:00am to 9:30 pm & Friday & Saturday 11:00am to 10:00pm.
The location is centrally located and directly across from the Opera Hall and within walking distance to multiple Motels & Hotels (267 S Washington St)
The restaurant has seafood, poultry, pork, beef, & House Specials.
In addition appetizers, soup and egg foo young.
Daily special plates for lunch range from $4.95 to $6.25
I'm often in the mood for Vegetarian and they have a dish Black Mushroom, with tender Green's sauteed in Oyster sauce for $7.50
One of my favorites is the Lover's Prawns, honey walnut prawns and praised prawns combined for $10.95
Visting Sonora, in Sonora for business, or living fulltime, the Hong Kong Garden is one of my favorites.
Ask for William or Lillie, they also have food to go (209) 532-1544
Tell William or Lillie that "Uncle Jim" suggested their Sonora Chinese Restaurant, William started calling me "Uncle Jim" about 2 years ago.
