Like it or not, these foods spoil faster than others.Here are some tips on helping
them to last longer.
Fresh Berries- Don't wash or cut until ready to eat.
Avocados- Refrigerate
Bananas- I gave up trying to save them- I buy green and semi green so they ripen at different times.
Broccoli- Refrigerate in bin away from fruit.
Raw Fish- Try and buy fish the day you want to eat it.
Ground Beef use within 2 days or freece
Deli Meat- I buy the kind that has 2 sealed packaged bags
Cakes and Cupcakes refrigerate
Milk- Store milk in the back of your fridge, where temperatures are coldest.

Elephant sculptures are displayed outdoors at Rough Point Museum and Salve Regina University’s McAuley Hall. FREE to view. The sculptures were created by The Coexistence Collective, a community of 200 indigenous artisans in the Nilgiri Hills of South India. They are made from lantana camara, an invasive weed that encroaches on wildlife habitat. ( Blow up photo to see details ) They must use thousands of nails!
Twenty-six life-size Indian elephant sculptures parade across the back lawn of The Breakers ( fee to enter) as part of the first American stop of this traveling exhibition.
*** We parked at 40 Steps Narragansett Ave. near Salve Regina McAuley Hall ( a Big brick building that is not marked ) the elephants are behind the Hall. You can touch them and see them up close. We then walked down Cliff Walk and saw the elephants from a distance at the Breakers. We walked past the Anglesea Mansion There is a difficult walk area, a smooth natural boulder path which we navigated ok. its in red on map. You have the option to take the trolley instead. Then we walked past Rosecliff, Beechwood and the Marble House Mansions to the Chinese Tea house ( worth seeing ) We turned around there and took a Free trolley back to the car.
