If you're looking for a new and soothing place to go for coffee, breakfast, or lunch, I recommend Cerulean Blue Coffee House located in Parker's Square across from the Gazebo in Flower Mound, Texas.

Cerulean is a hue of blue that looks like the Mediterranean Sea. What's unique about this new restaurant is you feel welcomed. The owners designed the Coffee House this way because they want you to feel relaxed and at home. There are two separate areas with fireplace, couch chairs, and coffee table.

What you see here is their special homemade cinnamon cream cheese biscuit for sale only on Sunday. They have a nice selection on the menu and you're welcome to click here to view the menu. As a side, I'm reading "A River of Doubt, non-fiction book by Candice Millard." It's quite an adventure story about President Theodore Roosevelt taking a trip through South America, nearly getting himself killed. It's a jungle of a book down the Amazon River. Did you know it's "~4,000 miles long and is navigable for ~ 3/4's of length." That is about the distance between Bangor, Maine and San Francisco!
*NOTE: I'm getting a "blocked" when I click on to view the menu. Please just Google Cerulean Blue Coffee House Flower Mound to view their amazing menu.

I had lunch a few weeks ago with a friend I haven't seen in years! Cerulean Blue Coffee House has a tasty strawberry spinach salad. I asked for no feta cheese. it was delicious!

The Feature photo at the top of this blog post is located in the front living room area with extra tables and chairs. Customers can also rent the room for privacy and the glass doors will be closed to the public. Above you see the second area with the same type of fireplace without privacy of a door. There are plenty of tables and chairs. It is a very relaxing Coffee House.

For a small meeting room with complete privacy there is room with barn doors, no windows, very private indeed!

Perhaps you'd like to pull up a bar stool and try a Blue Lagoon, Rip Tide, or meet someone new or invite a friend for a Deep Dive signature drink and conversation. Now, are you ready for a cup of coffee and do you want to try Flower Mound's Cerulean Blue Coffee House, where you'll most likely, never feel blue? The owners are great too! The last time I was there, I met the owner's father. He was so proud of his daughter who opened the new Coffee House in Flower Mound. Prices are about the same what you can expect to pay in franchise coffee shops but Cerulean Blue serves delicious beverges and quality food. The conversations you may hear are very interesting and free!

Not sure where Parker's Square is in Flower Mound? Look for the Gazebo. Cerulean Blue Coffee House is a quaint and charming restaurant in Flower Mound. We could meet up there for a nice cup of coffee or tea and I can tell you all about homes for sale and other wonderful places in Flower Mound, Texas. If so, y'all come back now, ya hear!

Debra Leisek - I feel a sense of peace each time I enter Cerulean Blue Coffee Shop. I really like their cream cheese cinnamon biscuit - similar to a cinnamon roll but in my opinion their homemade light biscuit is tastier. Oh, if you ever get here, that's where we will spend our day chatting and trying out their variety of yummy goodies.

I looked them up and also saw that "Every 10 pounds of coffee purchased provides a water filter to a family in Central America that will produce 1,000,000 gallons of clean water for them." So not only is a great place to go for coffee, but they are trying to make a difference!

Kat Palmiotti - Yes! that's true! There is a big poster advertising their gift of hope for families in Central America. Their mission is to provide clean filtered water to people in dire need of clean water, which is a matter of life and death and a BIG problem globally. By purchasing 10 lbs of coffee it will produce 1,000,000 gallons of clean water for a family. I planned to mention that in my post but it was so late. I forgt to share the most important Mission they are partnering with and it's a beautiful way to give back.

Good morning Patricia. Let's review! Favorite color blue. That cream cheese and cinnamon roll would not have a long plate life. I have read the book, it was beyond terrific. So far so good. So have to ask, "how is the coffee'? Enjoy every visit.

Wayne Martin - Truly, you'll never be blue at Cerulean Blue! Nor will you be disappointed in the coffee or cinnamon biscuit which in my opinion is not a heavy traditional cinnamon roll. I am thrilled to learn you read the book! It is part of history that I never before knew and Kermit, Teddy's son was so gifted. His bilingual and thinking skills was by far beyong any child I ever heard about from a previous President of the United States. I mentioned the book to Michael Jacobs previously. Now I have your endorsement too! If I could renovate my own house, I would model the design like they did using a cerulean blue color scheme throughout my floor plan. As for the cofee - out of this world!

It was very late when I posted and missed the most important part of Cerulena Blue's purpose for starting their business. The owners "are proud to partner with Serve Hope." Below is what is on their large poster near the cash register:

"We are proud to partner with Serve Hope! Every 10 pounds of coffee purchased provides a water filter to a family in Central America that will produce 1,000,000 gallons of clean water for them."

The owners have been residents of Flower Mound for 30 years. I've been living in this Town for 27 years. What they are doing for the "water crises affecting over two billion people globablly" is the most unselfish and noble deed I ever heard of in my life. I thought you and Debra Leisek might like to take a closer look at their cinnamon biscuit.

This is a good recommendation to share with area residents and visitors.

When I was a kid, my bedroom was painted in blue that is close to this.

Roy Kelley - I'm glad to learn the vibrant hue of  Cerulean brought back good memories.

Roy, you have lived through many periods in history, that people like me never experienced. I would love if you shared some of your stories about growing up and how life was different in a world, where I did not exist. Also, it would be interesting to hear about some of your earliest recollections of getting into the real estate business and evolutions in the industry and how did they impact the way you had to learn new skills. A series like that would really be refreshing and so interesting, in my opinion.

I have a lot of blue in my home's decor.  I love it.  My house exterior is painted Cape Cod Blue with white shutters and trim.  That strawberry spinach salad looks scrumptious, Patricia.

Myrl Jeffcoat - oh, your house sounds so beautiful and soothing too! You have good taste. It would be wonderful to live in a home like you described. My house is red brick without any shutters - boo woo!

A new Cerulean Blue Coffee House will be appreciated even more now.
