Family, fun, sports, competition and food all define me. Jersey raised, Philly loving and usually Maine-vacation bound, my love for family, cheesesteaks, the EAGLES, Acadia National Park and real estate sales usually dominate my thoughts. One career, my only ever full time job, I am a real estate lifer, with no regrets.

When I first read of Patricia Feager, ABR,CRS,GRI,MRP and Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 September 2024 Challenge, I thought, "Oh finally an easy one !" Then I read about "Part 2".
The 53 word part was easy peasy once I was on track. But it took me a while to get there. Sometimes, it isn't so easy to tell your story. Sixty-one years yet only fifty-three words! Funny how all those meaningless, stressful, chaotic moments are not in the final fifty-three. I have my attitude, faith and overall sense of happiness to thank for that.
It is interesting how going through a few personal hells reshapes what is important, and shows you what to focus on. Not the first or the second, but I am there now. And as I contemplate all that, would I have the peace and happiness now without having endured all of it?
Not a chance.
And for that, I feel blessed, thankful and beyond grateful. How we react to things and how we perceive things, is in my opinion the most important aspect of life. Sometimes life just flat out sucks. Sometimes we have people conflict. Sometimes, people near to us die. Everyone experiences this. No one escapes it. Sometimes, lots of bad things happen all in succession. Am I cursed? Does God not like me? Is this my future? All valid questions. But the answer is no.
Like most humans, I get upset, angry, and sometimes feel disillusioned. But I snap back very, very quickly. My strength, my absolute secret weapon, has always been my bounce back attitude and resiliency. That's how I have long life relationships. That is why I have had the same career for 40 years, and why I have been in the same home for 31.
I love life, because I am pretty good at focusing on the good stuff, and changing the channel on the bad. I drive around pot holes.
When life sucks, I count my blessings.
