It is Saturday morning. Still dark. Waiting for the sun to rise. Yesterday afternoon it rained. We needed the rain in Flower Mound, TX. The grass, trees, and leaves are still green but change is coming. My feature photo was taken at the red stoplight on Fairway Drive waiting to turn to go across the Grapevine Lake bridge and dam. In the distant dark thunderstorms Flower Mound skies a storm was in plain view. It wasn't raining in Grapevine. Not yet...

By the time I got to Flower Mound it was raining. The big, long yellow school bus was driving kids home from school. The bus was waiting for the traffic light to change. I was already at the Title Company. It's funny how you don't notice things until you stop and think and see and observe things you never saw before, such as....

"Operated by: Illinois Central School Bus LLC." Or that "BESTSCHOOLSINTEXAS.COM," advertises they are the best.

We live in a competitive world. Don't we?

Everybody thinks they are better. Is competition inherent in nature?

Seasons change. Was that designed and created on purpose?

People change. Well.... I'm convinced that's true!

Real Estate has always changed. Buyers still buy and Sellers still sell.

By the time I got home the rain stopped. Through the tree next door with the broken branch the sun was there because the sun was always there behind the dark cloud. And that is how it always is. Ah ha! I saw the light! I realized the sun doesn't change our attitude. It's our attitude that changes our behavior! Sometimes it takes a goodnight sleep to realize the most obvious.

Hello Patricia - can the pitter patter of precipitation precede pondering?  Perhaps.  Whether it reigns aplenty is another matter to consider.  ☔

Good morning! I have been known to say on a cloudy rainy day when people are cranky that the sun is still out. It's just above the clouds. It actually seems to make it better to know it hasn't gone anywhere but continues to beam down. :-)

Good morning, Patricia... having been a prisoner of my house since August 28th, what wouldn't I give to get outside and observe. Loved the picture of the sun shining through the clouds. Happy weekend.

Good morning Patricia.  The sun is always there, it is just sometimes the clouds block our vision. Don't let your current vision cloud your attitude, it can block your progress. Enjoy your day.

The other night I heard someone claim that competition is what spurs on evolution.  Otherwise, we'd all be couch potatoes, with no motivation to broaden our horizons.
