Growing up in the middle of 6 kids, I was destined to be a tomboy; hated dresses; played with dump trucks; but couldn’t play football with my brothers.
Have always looked for how to improve things. I look at the end result and work backwards to find improvements. I love the underdog!

Thank you Hannah Williams ! Growing up with 4 brothers made me tough, a trait I use to this day! I need to head over and read the other's posts. Should be very interesting! I hope you wrote one!
Oh yes Endre Barath, Jr. , a serioius tomboy. I was so upset that my brothers would not let me play football and I didn't understand why. My step-dad saw this and bought me the vibrating football set for Christmas. It was under the tree with my name on it from Santa. My brothers were upset that it was for me. I was beaming! I played softball for 25 years, tennis during the last 3, and coached for over 20 years. Sports are still on the brain. And thank you for the compliment. 3 of my 4 brothers are in building related fields from a project manager, civil engineer and a handyman. The other was a foreman at Lear/Bombadier. And my sister is a "domestic engineer!"

Great entry ot the 53-word challenge, Jan! Like you, I was a tom boy (but did play football until puberty) and grew up in a large family (8 kids), my stepdad comes from 16 children!
