Do It Again

Successful Real Estate Agents know what works for them so they just do it again, and again.

There is no magic bullet to be a successful in Real Estate unless maybe you consider repetition.

The steady bloggers on Active Rain have opened my eyes to the fact that what works amazingly for one of them may not be worth a crap to another. Yet what works for another may be totally different for another and again that works GREAT for them. What is evident to me is those that are successful stick to what works for them and they do it again and again. Successful agents may do a little experimenting and fine tuning but they do not abandon what made them successful in the first place.

The video below is not real Estate Related but when I think of the phrase "Do It Again" I think of this song by The Taylors and it makes me happy. 😊

Great post, how about Steely Dan's DO IT AGAIN?   This reminds me that all pets must get really bored, I try to give them as much attention as I can.

I'll have to go back to YouTube and check out Steely Dan's song Michael Elliott . I remember them but not that song. I wonder if pets often die from boredom.

Hi Bob,
Consistency is a big challenge for many agents. When they get busy, they tend to stop doing what created the business. Then, when the slack times come, they have to start all over again.

Speaking of pets, I've often wondered how most of them can just lay around all day.  What kind of thoughts do they have?

That is exactly right Carol Williams , we get busy and stop the marketing that got us busy. I'm guessing pets think about food, water, and us.

It really is a pretty simple recipe for success Bob!  Do what works, wash, rinse, repeat. Fine tune when needed but otherwise keep on doing what works. It's funny how it takes some agents years to figure this out.  And others, well you give them the formula and they run with it to success.  I also think that what makes agents stand out from others is their willingness to learn, to do, to be,  and they enjoy the process.

People think I am boring because I am predictable, I have routines, not just with the animals and  cooking, but with Real Estate as well. If I can answer the phone I do, if you leave a message I return the call relatively quickly. If you text me same rules apply and if you email me same rules apply. It is good to be predictable and my clients love me for it, they can email me late at night and get a reply or an answer from me. Endre

I too was very routine Endre Barath, Jr. and my clients knew I was NOT a 24/7 guy but I did have some flexability for showings. All other business could be done weekdays between 7:00AM and 5PM.
