Don't Sock Me In.

Geez! I wonder how many animals/Pets have been tortured  for entertainment on TV and the internet? Put me in a sock and when I get out I'm going to bite you.

I wonder if AFV ever turned in people for animal abuse?

That being said have YOU ever turned someone in for animal abuse?

Do you enjoy the cartoons written by my son (Timmothy N. Timm) which I use as a springboard to write my daily posts? His strip, Titus & Philemon, has run in two newspapers for years as well as being printed in my blog every day. Titus & Philemon (pronounced Phi - Lee -Man) are guinea pigs. Their owner is Joe. Timmothy has never repeated a joke/comic strip in the 12 years he has been writing it. He has never copied another strip, such as Peanuts or Garfield. You can follow Timmothy on FB as Titus & Philemon and you can also check him out on Instagram as Instagram.com/titus and philemon/ .For Timmothy's website type timmtimmothy.com into your browser. I tried to put it in a link here but it refuses to work. Do NOT put anything in front of timmtimmothy.com or it will not work.

I am fortunate that I have been spared that stress and question how I would react to someone abusing a critter that is trying to be a good companion

Thank you Ed Silva, 203-206-0754 . It is sad because as you said they try to please their owner. The owner is the one they count on for love.

BTW I had forgot to upload the feature picture when I posted this. I have fixed it now so the story makes more sense.

Good morning Bob. My father owned a hunting dog he kept at a paid facility since my mom did not want him in our home. He found out that the dog was being abused. He removed the dog. In those days you took things into your own hands. Let's say the facility owner took a vacation to heal from his wounds. Somebody did not like his behavior. And my dad was not the somebody. Enjoy your day.

WOW, he should have to serve jail time as far as I'm concerned Wayne Martin and yes, I'd say he deserved a beating as well.

I am not a big pet guy, but I have seen them do some amazing and funny things, haha.

Brian England I don't spend much time on YouTube but my wife is always looking at fun pet stuff and showing me and Timmothy stuff. I think Timmothy gets some of his cartoon ideas from those videos.

Hi Bob... I have not, as I've not seen anyone actually abuse an animal. I have, however, adopted cats and dogs who came out of an abusive situation.

Nina Hollander, Broker the only possible abuse I've seen dogs left out all day chained to a tree and having wrapped themselves around it so tightly they had no where to go.

Bob "RealMan" Timm I just don't get it, Bob, when people do things like that.

Hi Bob:

Thankfully I have not had he need to report anyone for animal abuse, but I certainly would if I was aware of such a situation.

That is the best answer Jeff Dowler, CRS . I'm glad no one here has had to call in a report of abuse besides myself.

We are on the same page again my brother Endre Barath, Jr. Along side the annoyance of people focused on their screens are the people with ear buds tuning out the world.

Bob "RealMan" Timm to answer your question ... too damn many people use their pets for entertainment.  I hate it.  Hate is a strong word yet this is where I allow myself to hate.  It makes my blood boil. The poor animals.

I never thought about people using pets as entertainment Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist but you are right and it is ugly. It's probably true of their children as well.
