On Saturday, September 14th the Georgetown, MA Camp Denison Committee is reinstating its annual Family Day. This year the Board of Selectmen will again be grilling hotdogs. There will be plenty of activities for the children and an opportunity for catching up with community members you may not see often.
This is the first time since the China Virus that the committee has had Family Day. They've also been sprucing up the rustic camp, which also caused a delay in reopening.
Camp Denison is a rustic, jewel property in our town. The venue is used for fundraisers, weddings, parties, fishing, hiking, retreats and more. There is a cabin, bunkhouses, & tent sites, in the woods or by the water, for those overnighters.
The Main Lodge (The Great Hall) has a function room that features a large stone fireplace and has a functioning kitchen.
Be sure there are plenty of things to keep the kiddos occupied
The weather forecast is predicting a spectacular late summer day of 77° F with a slight wind.
So Come on Down!
