For over 20 years 13 was the home address and it never changed regardless of the day of the week or month.

Hi, Doug. Thank you for sharing this. I actually forgot it was Friday the 13th. I don't put much stock in it but I know many people do after all there are no 13 floors in buildings in the US.

Hi Doug- I can't remember which house but in the flower bed at one of our homes, while pulling weeds, I did find an upside down St. Joseph's statue.

I totally forgot about the superstitions that surround Friday the 13th! The compressor went out on my refrigerator and had to buy a new one. Thank goodness they can deliver tomorrow! I didn't see any black cats so guess the refrigerator died a natural death!

Hello Doug - each day I do and don't do things.  For all sorts of reasons, I don't ever recall superstitions being a part of the thought process.  

I rarely see an occasion where I have to wonder if I should walk under the ladder or not, haha.

Doug, remember many years ago adopting a black cat from the Dumb Friends League this time of year, and they made me sign something saying it wasn't for sacrifice.  I was SHOCKED!
