What Are You Complaining About?

If you read yesterdays comic by Timmothy in my last post the guinea pigs (Titus & Philemon) were complaining that Joe was watching videos of guinea pigs instead of them. Now they want to take part in the activity that yesterday annoyed them. I guess hypocrisy would be the fitting word. I think most people have a little hypocrisy within them but most have pretty good control over it and we never see it.

The picture above was taken from a wonderful article I found while researching for this post. If you click on the picture it will take you to a very well written article titled  A Look at Why People Are Two Faced: The Real Person Behind the Smile.

I also found a great example of hypocrisy in Real Estate on YouTube HOWEVER it will/would get some folks riled up here even though it is based in FACT. It is a piece by the NY Times titled Hypocrisy is Fueling American Inequality. Here’s How.  I realize that some people HATE the truth even when it is backed up by fact so instead of complaining about the link JUST DON'T CLICK ON IT IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY THE TRUTH.

Do you enjoy the cartoons written by my son (Timmothy N. Timm) which I use as a springboard to write my daily posts? His strip, Titus & Philemon, has run in two newspapers for years as well as being printed in my blog every day. Titus & Philemon (pronounced Phi - Lee -Man) are guinea pigs. Their owner is Joe. Timmothy has never repeated a joke/comic strip in the 12 years he has been writing it. He has never copied another strip, such as Peanuts or Garfield. Good morning Bob. There is no transparency. The act in front of the curtain is very different from the actions behind the curtain. So many examples of how easily people listen to fantasy and fiction and believe it to be gospel. Even when they discover the truth, they deny it. And so it goes. Enjoy your day.

Hello Bob "RealMan" Timm - Deny. Deny. Deny. Lie. Lie. Lie. It is incredible to me - something I do not understand because I am one for TRUTH. 

Even with the facts, photos, videos, voice messages, text messages, and emails, some people just deny it knowing full well it is true. Others could be delusional enough to actually believe lies to be true. 

If it doesn't fit the agenda, just lie and deceive.  Some people will stop at nothing.
