All good things to come to an end and if the vacation was done right, slight regrets and big satisfaction.
We made a visit to Portugal to gather with relatives as our sphere of relations on my father 's side ended last year with the last of his siblings.
While all but 1 lives in the US, that cousin was not in a position to travel to the states. So selfishly we gathered there.
Some pleasant and very much enjoyed times and when all was done, a commitment to not take another 23 years to reunite.
We traveled south back towards Lisbon but not before we spent a couple of nights in Cascais, Portugal a resort/residential community.
Our last afternoon was spent near the beach in Guincho.
I worked my imagination wildly as I saw the restaurant on the point that from a distance, looked like a scene in a French foreign legion movie.
I remember a Gary Cooper movie Beau Guest and every big of this was vivid to me.
Below on the beach, people enjoyed the scenery and the surf with some brave souls parasailing.
We stayed to the end of the sunset just to share the colors.
No one knows how many tomorrows they have, and to focus on tomorrows that offer little recreation to recharge seems to be off purpose.
