Using a Drone to inspect the roof

Before drones walking on the roof was the only way to get a good roof inspection done. This video of a clay tile roof inspection I recently performed using a drone. The home is a approximately 4700 sq ft 5 bedroom, 5 baths home.

Fred, my inspector has had a drone, just in case for years.   He has to use them on concrete tile roofs.  But sometimes when it is raining, or some snow.

I have a master inspector that does look at the roofs with a drone It is safer and faster.
