This new twist on viewing films outdoors throughout the city should be quite interesting and a fun way for the community to not only gather and watch some great films, but to get reacquainted with the city infrastructure. I'm still working on deciding which ones to go see, anybody up for War of the Worlds on top of a School House garage? theMarketFeel like catching a free flick in the streets and alleyways of Pasadena on a warm summer night? For three weekends starting this Friday July 11th, movies will be projected in both expected and unexpected places such as the One Colorado Courtyard (image to the left, the screen can be seen on the top right of the picture) and on the School House Garage Rooftop (Old Pasadena Film festival starts Friday, Pasadena Star News). The films selected in conjunction with the locations, are meant to parallel each other and reflect similarities, bringing to life the architecture of Old Pasadena. In summers past, the One Colorado Courtyard has been used for evening films such as Hitchcock marathons.
