Located along Destin Harbor, the Seablast is in the thick of the action. A ticket on the Seablaster allows the guest to explore the harbor, Jetties, then offshore weather permitting. The day we toured the gulf was in a mood. No worries, the captain took us under the bridge, around crab island and into Choctawhatchee Bay.
The first segment featured a laid back tour of the harbor. When passing a popular establishment, the captain would offer a courtesy honk. This resulted in waves and shouts from the crowd onshore. Soon it was time to hit the pass!
Due to some rough weather courtesy of a tropical system, the captain decided to remain inshore. From start to finish the crew made the rounds offering free soft drinks, water, beer, and wine to the guest. And let's say this voyage was called the sunset cruise for a reason!
After a rocket blast across the open water (the boat Is the Seablaster after all) we paused to enjoy the sunset. This was a crowd favorite. The open concept seating meant folks made friends with the other guests quickly. As we came back folks were laughing and one group decided to go to dinner! All in all this was a wonderful trip and something I encourage for locals and tourist alike.
