Places To Eat In Destin Florida-Moe's BBQ
As a tourist who morphed into a local, I can attest to what I call "seafood fatigue". After several meals of WORLD CLASS FRESH SEAFOOD, visitors to Destin Florida start looking for some red meat. Take it from a now local, Moe's bbq has you covered!
Upon arrival, guests quickly understand Moe's knows bbq. Everything from the decoration to how orders are processed centers around delivering a high quality product. During peak season expect a line even before the doors open. Rest assured, the fresh bbq is worth the wait.
As a native Texan, I grew up with high quality bbq. Moe's product is as good as any meat I have purchased in Central Texas. Just look at those ribs! What separates "good" bbq from "great" are the sides. Many restaurants will have sides almost as an afterthought. Not Moe's. Frankly a man could have a happy life JUST eating the sides. Okay, he would still want a rib every now and then but you get the point. Not into bbq???
The picture is sideways for a reason. Sometimes you have to change your perspective. Step off the bbq menu and try the fried fish! Just WOW, even by coastal standards. And this plate is far less than you would pay on the other side of the harbor. Not pictured because it wouldn't fit in the frame...Try the Thanksgiving Sandwich. Yep, MOUNDS of turkey, gravy, and sauce. Word of warning if returning to work after (yes, some of us have to work in paradise). This beast will put you to sleep! Like should come with a warning label.
