🐝 Stripes are always in season as the Bumble Bee relentlessly pursues daily sustenance. Darting from flower to flower, gathering pollen and nectar, it’s fuzzy appearance insulates on especially cooler mornings, when foraging.
 
 
🐝 Bumble bee’s work all throughout the year, unlike their relatives, the honey bee’s. Pollination ensures that life continues on, their work ethic is a testament of perseverance. We are indeed grateful for them all in Nerdin Gardens!

Bees of all types are essential to our plants and flowers, so anything that helps them out is good. I am not sure of the difference between a honey bee and a bumble bee, but will now go and do some research.

I have done 2 AR zoom meetings about gardening and much of the information has to do with bee's. They truly are amazing creatures, Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543!

I have a bee keeper on speed dial to move swarms of honey bees when they leave their hive for whatever reason.

I found this helpful site, funnily enough from a pest control company but very interesting showing the differences between bumble and honey bees. I learnt a lot I did not kow.

Yes, we did see a bumble bee resting in a Hollyhock bloom yesterday, George Souto. Bless his little bee heart, he worked so hard, he needed a nap!

This year has brought so many bumble bees to our flowers, not sure why but I am in awe of their work ethic, Kathy Streib.
They will hang upside down or take over a bloom to get a tiny bit of pollen and allow Mike to pet them.

I say, bring them on!
