Friday Fun..Pumpkins
For several weeks I’ve seen pumpkins everywhere. My H-E-B has green pumpkins, white ones (I love white pumpkins), and traditional orange pumpkins. There are ones small enough for a child to carry and Texas sized pumpkins.

There are also pumpkins with bumps all over them, tall ones and short ones. And some that look perfect for carving!
Larry and I used to carve pumpkins each Halloween. Living in the south, you learn that carving too early could result in rotted, sunken orange ick!
Our pumpkins fell in the traditional/not-so-creative category. I love seeing what other, more artistic pumpkin carvers create.
Inasmuch as neither one of us wants to try to make something out of the insides of the carved pumpkin, we opt now for faux pumpkins!
So for some Friday Fun…what about you? Will you be carving any pumpkins this year?
And…if you do carve one, what do you do with the stuff inside??? Pie, cupcakes????
