Sandpoint Realty 'Friday Flag' - October 11, 2024

Sandpoint Realty 'Friday Flag' has us in the midst of changing seasons.

Sandpoint Realty Friday Flag

Labor Day marks the turning of seasons.  Sandpoint Idaho Lions Club lines the streets with USA Flags for the weekend.  This photo also shows the iconic Panida Theater which if you look closely you see another flag at Panida Theater that flies year round.

Thank you Panida Theater, Lions Club, and Sandpoint Businesses for proudly flying our 'Star and Stripes'.

With the changing of this particular season comes some serious work for many.  Preparation for winter.

Sandpoint Realty Naples Idaho Fall Pine Needles

As you can see above it is no small chore and raking needles is but one part of winter preparation in North Idaho.  Many newcomers to North Idaho will ignore preparations needed thinking the warnings and advice but an empty comment.

All too soon the Sandpoint Realty 'Friday Flag', pictured below is a realty and far too late to prepare for the winter months still ahead.  As with most things in life 'acting ahead of time' not 'reacting' makes North Idaho winters much easier to live with.

Hello Mark - upfront preparation, whether for a seasonal shift or something else, can prove beneficial.  It's good to be ready.  Happy Saturday.

Good morning, Mark... I love city streets that are adorned by our flag. After reading your post, I can say I'm happy to live where the preparations for winter are minimal.

It's still been hot here, but I do see some signs that it is beginning to cool down which will be very welcomed, haha.

Good morning Mark,

I love seeing all the flags and the fact you line your streets! I can see why preparing for winter in your area is a must and educating newcomers could be a daunting task!

That photo of Old Glory flying with the Panida Theater in the background reminds me of picture that could have been taken years ago, somewhere in Americana.

Myrl, thank you for the feature.  Downtown Sandpoint still has much of the feel you speak of.  Growing or not.  m

It's all about planning Mark. The middle of next week we will be waking up in the low 40's and that's just the start of the cooler months!

With the proper planning even a harsh winter can be enjoyed.  From your posts I suspect you enjoy all the seasons.  m

Yes indeed, it's time to do preparations for the upcoming winter. Except for buying some bags of sand, I think we're basically ready.

Ok Kat, you realize of course how badly you have jinxed yourself by saying 'basically ready'.   lol   Enjoy the day.  m

Hi Mark:

I particularly liked the photo with the close-up and the more distant flag on the theater.

Hard to believe it's time to prepare for winter but I suppose it's not that far off. So glad I no longer live where snow is a worry!

Jeff
