2024 Colors of Fall in Connecticut 2
This will be the second week of full colors on display and there was a noticeable difference from last week.
The location is in Watertown, CT at the Crestbrook Park Gold course, and I chose this location as the hills offer great vistas and as it is in Litchfield County, the weather is a bit cooler than my home location.
Maintaining the same sequence as last week:
The shot above is looking down from the tee on our 11th hole. The photo below is looking back up towards the tee.
The photo below is closer to the 11th green with the colors around the pond.
The next photo is looking up to the 13th green from the center of the fairway on this par 5.
As we played on the front side, it was easier to take the photos, and this is the side that offers the better views of the other side of the valley.
The above photos are on the 11th fairway looking across the valley. The colors are still not fully out.
The shot below is looking down the 6th fairway towards the green.
The par 5 9th hole is long and the colors are typically bright and colorful.
As it was so distinctive, I took a shot backwards towards the pro shop from the center of the 10th fairway.
The pond that is first to be seen when coming onto the park still is not fully colored but is getting there. When the wind is not blowing, the reflections of the trees can be seen as a mirror.
