Motivational Monday…Give Me Attitude
When I hired consultants for our Business Staffing office, I considered several markers.

If they had experience in staffing, all the better, however that was not key for me.
It was important that they meshed with the other consultants. We had an atmosphere that was not just about work but family. Everyone got along and we all worked hard, and we played hard together.
ATTITUDE was by far the most important ingredient. I could teach them how to recruit applicants, how to prep them for an interview, and how to accept a job offer.
Since getting new business clients was my forte, I looked for someone with the right mind-set who I could train who could call on a company and walk out with a new client.

If you’re looking for someone for your team or office, it’s relatively easy to teach them how to use the MLS or hold an Open House. They can learn about Buyer’s Agreements and how to work their sphere.
However you’re fighting an uphill battle if that person’s heart isn’t into the task. If the only reason they’re there is because it’s a “job’ then good luck.

Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.

There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.
