Motivational Monday…Show Up, Regardless
Sunday I watched Tom Brady (the GOAT) interview Patrick Mahomes (3 SuperBowl wins.) No matter what you think of Tom 
Brady, you have to admire his dedication and focus.
Some things he said could apply to the real estate industry and what agents and others have experienced.
Since joining the Chiefs in 2017, Mahomes has had to adjust and evolve as key players have left.
Brady admitted that he made similar adjustments. It became less about wondering “am I going to make the Pro Bowl or MVP” this year to “Am I good enough for my team to win today?”
“Am I the best player today regardless of the circumstances, regardless of who’s playing.”
When you’re asking yourself that, you’re constantly doing what you can to improve.
If you think about it, he could have been talking about YOU.
Through the Pandemic, no inventory, high interest rates, the NAR thing…you have evolved and made adjustments.
You’ve kept your ethics and standards but perhaps you’ve adjusted how you market. Maybe you’ve found a different niche market.
You’ve continued to educate yourself which includes being here and learning from others.
Nothing remains the same…people come and go…our own abilities may wane as we age.
All we can do is show up everyday, be consistent and keep doing what we can to help our team/family/friends.
I’ll leave you with what Brady said to Mahomes…
“You’re doing it the RIGHT way. Keep doing it that way and you’ll have success.”
