Let's talk about Rivers Bend Condo a Pet Friendly Community in the Torresdale section of Northeast Philadelphia Pa. It is also close to I 95 US 1 and The Pa Turnpike .You can walk to the Torresdale /Trenton Train Station which takes minutes from Center City Philadelphia and convenient to New York Trains. There is even a bus for those who rely completely on public transportation.
There are eateries such as The Three Monkey's were you can get a brew and a almost anything you would want to eat from soup , cheese steak to a fine meal and dessert. You can also walk down the street to Wawa and buy what you need or order a hoagie or pizza use the Mac machine or purchase a lottery ticket
Enough let's talk about the living situation. If you have a pet no problem and no letters saying your pet is a service animal . It is pet friendly. No size restrictiction. The people walk them proudly . I was fortunate to meet this owner and this lovely Ms who was very friendly and kindly posed for a picture
There are A and B units
"B" unit is a second floor unit and has a loft that overlooks the living-room and dining area . It has very high ceilings . There are also some "B" units that do not have a loft . The loft was an extra when they were built . There are very few units that do not have lofts . Each B unit has 2 BR 2 Full Baths plus a Garage and laundry which is located on the lower level (unless laundry was moved extra bath was optional as was a fireplace when built) These units are very lovely and contemporary and vary in styles
"A" unit is first floor unit 2 BR 2 .5 bath with a lower floor. It will either have a staircase leading down stairs or a door with a set of stairs. I personally like the more private door with the set of stairs than the spiral staircase but it varies in taste . Downstairs there originally was a large jacuzzi tub but you rarely see the tub there. Owners took it out and made it into a lovely living space with a washer and dryer (closeted , the heater and water heater ) and 1/2 bath also called a powder room that was in a small section the rest of the room is a large finished room .
Some people love B units and some love A units it is a matter of taste
These condos do not have amenities like a clubhouse or pool to be maintained . They do have landscaping and snow removal outside maintenance like roof and siding therefore their fees are not as expensive as other condos in the area
