OK, driving 2,000+ miles, you are bound to come home with a car that is quite "bugged out". Even going through the car wash, they don't want to come off! So, need to scrub and scrub.
Every so often, I like to use my scratch-off product, as there are usually small scratches that come from who knows where, but they come off pretty easily.
One of my REALTOR friends had on FB they were waxing their brand-new car. OH MY, my car is almost 5 years old, and I have had it waxed once. Guess it was time again. OOPS, all the wax in my garage has been there for quite some time and was hard as rocks. Well, crap, but clear in the back I found one "water-based" wax. I waxed the hood, waited for it to "haze over", and buffed it off. That was as far as I got! 🤣
Listening to the weather, sounds like either rain or snow is coming in on Tuesday, so it won't be super clean for too long.
