In Denver, it has been a very mild Fall, and we have enjoyed several 70 and 80 degree days! We have been 10-15 degrees above normal temps lately.
This week we COULD see a flake or two in the City, and the mountains will see some much needed snow. Wolf Creek has opened for skiing for the season, with only a 13" base. The average day for the first day of measurable snowfall is October 18th. We missed that date this year!
For as many years as I can remember, it is usually cold for Halloween, and the kids have needed to wear some warmer clothes under their costumes. This year it will be a 58 degree day, so not too bad.
I like the mellow weather, and the snow can take it's sweet time coming to Denver!
