Snow Road-eo Results

First-place winners Andrew Rosencrantz and Mark Smith with Public Works Operations Division Chief Mark Scafide

It’s not too early to think about snow. In fact, our snow removal crews have already been honing their skills, engaging in a friendly Snow Road-eo competition. Ten teams, each consisting of a snow plow driver and a navigator, competed in a timed obstacle course where they negotiated their way through eight stations along a plotted route.

Congrats to first-place winners Mark Smith and Andrew Rosencrantz (fourth year in a row), second-place winners Jon Burgess and Bobby Cox, and third-place winners Cliff Holmes and Jamie Johnson. The Rookie of the Year, representing the best first-time driver in the Snow Road-eo, was awarded to Esteban Ramirez. The team-building event is geared towards snow removal preparedness for the upcoming winter weather season.

That sounds like such a fun way for plow drivers and navigators to hone their skills!

Good morning, Roy... this sounds like fun! At the same time, I'm happy to be living where we are definitely not thinking about snow any time soon, if at all.
