Wordless Wednesday…Do You Know What This Is?

The first time I saw one of these was in Auburn, GA. when we were in that lovely town for the Auburn-Texas A&M game.

Last week we saw one at one of the community parks where we walk.  Do you know what it is??

I’ve never seen that many bicycles on the path but hey… at least if one runs amok, they can fix it at this bike repair station!

Good morning Kathy. Never saw one! But if they installed them in the parks of Chicago, they would disappear in an instant, ha, ha! Sad but true. Enjoy your day.

Wayne Martin  how funny. I was thinking that downtown Chicago might have these but I see your point.

Michael Jacobs I agree. I haven't seen that many bicycles on the path at that park but still a good idea.

Good morning, Kathy... all I can say is that now I do know what that is! Can't say I've ever personally seen a station like this.

Nina Hollander, Broker I'm surprised we didn't see one on the beach in Delray. There were always cyclers on A1A there.

Ya know, that is a really cool idea. Something I would never have thought of. I bet it has saved many a riders butt.

Jeffrey DiMuria 321.223.6253 Waves Realty glad you like it. I remember when we walked on the beach in Delray it seems as if there were Pelotons along a1a every weekend.  Many times there were cyclers on the sidewalk fixing a tire or something else.

Dorie Dillard Austin TX I wouldn't be surprised if Austin has them somewhere. The one we saw in Auburn looked like an upscale version of  this one.

wow Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 you're the first one here who's seen them. I can see why they'd come in handy.

Kathy Streib - that is a brilliant idea for bikers and to those who know their loved ones ride the trails to worry less.

I agree Patricia Feager, ABR,CRS,GRI,MRP can you imagine being stuck out on a path. I'm sure you could walk your bike back but that could be a long walk.

Patricia Feager, ABR,CRS,GRI,MRP

Kathy Streib - no. That would not be fun to have to walk your bike back on the trails. I don't think there are drone pick-up taxi services yet either.

Joan Cox they're not inexpensive but if you have a lot of bikers in an area, it's a good idea.
