Zoom Call 10.29.24  Paddy Deighan Lets Talk about AI

The Zoom call this week was another moderated by our resident AI expert, Paddy Deighan.  It was more of a roundtable with those present offering up their comments and criticisms of experiences with AI and Paddy giving solutions based on his experiences.

It was good for those that are having issues trying to get the proper prompts or as Paddy called it, getting AI to understand who we are and get on the same page.

He spoke of the upgrades that Adobe has made to their AI platform to make it easier to manage and it is at no additional cost.

He also showed a copy of a new book, Generative AI for Dummies that as he explained he isn't promoting but several of the people on the call had it ordered within minutes. 

It offers hints on how to make better prompts, creative content and in-depth descriptions on benefiting from AI.

At app $25 it is well worth the cost.  If Paddy speaks it, they will follow!

The bulk of the call was people offering their experiences and collectively trying to get a reasonable answer.

One caller talked about issues with getting hands that were either deformed or having too many fingers.  The result was to get very precise with the prompt description to resolve. 

It was also noted, as there are numerous AI sites out there, that trying the same prompts in each to view results would help and then modify the prompt to get closer to desired results.

Another attendee spoke of getting better results with marketing using AI generated images.

Several on the call mentioned being on Night Cafe as a way of helping each other. The sight was opened to try to get an idea of where on the site were the filters that would get an image closer to what was being requested. The sites need acclimation time, and one needs to spend some time getting familiar with the site and as noted above for the site to become familiar with the user.

The time went fast, and it was suggested that maybe a special AI Zoom call be done in the immediate future.

There will be a post put up on the group AI for Rainers and a time slot sometime within the next 2 weeks for maybe 2 hours at a time more convenient for more attendees.

Ed this is the second ZOOM Meeting I had to miss because of Early Voting, I should be back after the Election.  Good to hear that Paddy was able to solve some of the issues that those on the call were having.

Ed I'm totally in for another meeting at another time.  I had to miss this one due to unexpected phone calls I had to take that were very important.  I look forward to being part of the next one.  Thanks for keeping us in the know and thanks to Paddy Deighan MBA JD PhD taking his time to share his knowledge.

Sounds like a pretty informative and interesting AI discussion with Paddy. Sorry to have missed it. And thanks for sharing the book - sounds like something worth having in my personal library.
