Leftover Halloween Candy You Don't Know What To Do With?
Send A Sweet Thank You To Those Who Serve
Not sure what to do with leftover candy from Halloween? Why not donate your leftover Halloween candy to our troops via the Operation Shoebox program? Donating your leftover Halloween candy to our military heroes has got to be a better idea than nibbling through all the extra candy in the weeks to come!
“The soldier's heart, the soldier's spirit, the soldier's soul, are everything.”
... George Marshall
If you have heard of Operation Shoebox... their mission is to provide hands-on support for troops deployed overseas and coming home so as to meet the needs of each hero with dignity and appreciation.
Did you know that Operation Shoebox sends out some 350-400 boxes each week? That's some 18,000-20,000+ boxes each year! They are happy to accept candy donations all year long. Each box they send to a service member throughout the year contains some candy.
Candy donations should be sent to:
Operation Shoebox
8360 East Highway 25
Belleview, FL 34420
Please help to spread the word about this great program. November is a perfect month to show gratitude. Why not pay it forward to our brave military who sacrifice so much for us?
“No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks.”
... James Allen
