Apple Pie, What Smells Better?

Bob "RealMan" Timm - I can understand why your son was inspired to write his cartoon strip! There is nothing else that compares to the scent of a good old fresh homemade Apple Pie!

Yes i is apple pie season which  reminds me to eat healthy so I can indulge!

Good morning Bob. Nothing like the smell of good old fashioned fresh air. That said, the smell of an apple pie baking in the oven with plenty of cinnamon does not escape my nose or interest in having a piece, a big piece with some vanilla ice cream. Enjoy your day.

Nothing smells as good as fresh baked bread or pie... not even fresh air. 😁

Good morning, Bob... since I don't bake and don't come from a "baking family" I don't know how good an apple pie might taste. That being said, I also hugely dislike air fresheners of any scent and actually am quite allergic to them... instant migraine. If I want some scent in my house, it's a soft vanilla candle. I also will put vanilla extract in the oven at 325 degrees for a while... the house smells so good after.

Hello Bob - although your post highlights the appeal of everyday scents, I can't help but think of common sense.   Much too rare but quite refreshing in multiple ways.  

I don't like any air fresheners and don't use them myself. Apple pie would definitely smell better as would baking bread, simmering pasta sauce, chocolate chip cookies, etc. Yum.

Hello Bob, I love to bake and pick it up from my mom, after she sold the restaurant she would still bake pies and always had coffee on and pie for anyone that would stop by and lots of people always stop by to check up on my parents.

Hi Bob- as much as I love chocolate...it's hard to pass up a slice of homemade apple pie!!! It's one of my favorite desserts. I used to tell my staging clients that the best scent for their home was fresh and clean.
