Daylight Saving Time Ends On Sunday November 3, 2024

By
Industry Observer CDRE #01044712

A friendly reminder to my friends and everyone at ActiveRain community about the daylight saving time will end, and the regular daylight time will start on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

Please set your watches, clocks, and all your electronic timing devices one hour backward on Sunday November 3, 2024, at 2:00AM for the regular daylight time. We observe daylight savings time to conserve energy and make better use of the daylight hours!

The officially daylight saving time started in 1918. Navajo Nation reservation in Arizona do participate in daylight savings time, but the rest of Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam and the Northern Marianas Islands do not participate in daylight saving time.

Enjoy one extra hour on Sunday November 3, 2024.

John Pusa  never been a fan of changing the clocks and the adjusting the body clock... since we have had pets for the past 30 years that just makes it even harder... they complain about the change as much as I do:)Endre

This always messes me up, even though we don't change our clocks in Arizona.  Since I am traveling on the East coast right now, it's probably going to really mess me up today, haha.  I better double-check what time it actually is so that I don't miss my flight today, haha.

Hello John - we "adjust" - some "adapt" and "accept".  Others simply complain regardless of the time of day.  Happy November as life moves forward.   Until the spring when our clocks need to take a different shift.  So, to speak.  I digress. . .  ⏰

Good morning John. Not a fan of daylight savings time. It is an archaic idea whose time has passed. That said, yes I turned my clocks back. Enjoy your day.

And we who live in AZ and Hawaii do not have to reset all of our clocks. We just now need to remember the time for other states when making calls.
