Dick Earl's Electric Witness Album Drop at the Silo!
Dropping an album in a quaint setting among blues fans was the goal. Mission accomplished! We have had the pleasure of listening to this extraordinary blues band several times at the Silo but this event was indeed an honor to host.
This band is a family affair who all sing. Dick plays the guitar and harmonica with precision and flare, his son, Isaac who plays the bass and daughter, Mari, a drummer and family friend Thomas Anderson, playing guitar. Alice, Dick's wife plays in several local bands such as Soul What!? and Red Rock Jazz Orchestra.
Dick lives in Santa Clara, is a native Utahan, hailing from Moroni, just off I-15, heading toward Salt Lake City. If you get a chance, listen to some of their songs, they are guaranteed to grab the emotions, get you up dancing or both!
Dick Earl's Electric Witness took 3rd in the International Blues Festival out of 150 bands a few years ago in Memphis and is very much in demand. We were thrilled they chose the Silo to introduce their new album. Many thanks to Dick, Alice, Mari, Isaac, Thomas and guests for making it so special!
