Visiting Colorado this time of Year.....

I have relocating buyers coming in tomorrow to view homes for the next few days. Of course, we FINALLY got some measurable snow today, and was SUPPOSED to be only for today. Now it looks like it will continue into tomorrow also.

When I put the schedule together, from the most South to the most North is two hours difference. Some of the homes are up Coal Creek Canyon (which today got over a foot of snow). With 19 homes in 4 days may be lofty goal with this weather. They want to view the barns/stables/workshops and many of the homes are sizeable also.

I spoke to my clients last night, and if roads will be miserable, they will cancel some of the homes that were not in their top 3-5, and take some time and get to know the areas around Denver. (they are renting an SUV)

There is another storm coming in Friday night into Saturday and should dump even more snow than what the current one did. I feel for this couple, after taking time off of work, and then may not be able to accomplish all they planned to.

Oh wow, Joan. What a bummer! Fortunately, this is not something I need to worry about 99.9% of the time. Then again, it's probably a good experience for people planning to move to Colorado to know that snow happens!
