It's National Nachos Day!
A tasty dish that is easily made with tortilla chips and a hit no matter the time of year. Usually, I brown ground beef, add roasted, stewed tomatoes, season with paprika, cumin and chili seasoning, grilled onions in garlic, sprinkle sharp cheddar cheese, and top with lettuce tomatoes, green chilis, fresh onions and plump roma tomatoes.
An alternative is to make green chile verde with pork then place on top tortilla chips, then add cheese and other flavorful ingredients like homemade salsa, sour cream and fresh chives. Another simple favorite for some people is melted cheese over tortilla chips with pickled jalapenos on top. Eat your nachos, your way for sure!
Now, for the real estate industry part of this post:
Be aware that as markets change, so do some standards, especially the new construction part of the market.
Some builders have tightened up their requirements on people wandering into their models. It used to be okay to call and give the clients name and information over the phone. I am with clients 98% of the time when they visit a model home but there are times when they prefer to drive around, explore the area on their own.
Their choice, their right, of course. Luckily, I registered a couple 15 minutes online, prior to them walking through the door of a model home. Had I not, the builder would have refused to pay me. Whew, glad I had the foresight to do so!
Besides, when working with clients for some time, they are nachos, they're mine.
