I am thankful for the kiss.
I would assume that the first kiss dates back to Adam and Eve. The act of kissing is mentioned throughout the entire Bible. Kisses of love, friendship, deceit, and betrayal are all recorded there. The only kisses that I am thankful for are those of love and friendship.
I doubt any of us remember our first kiss, much less the first one hundred because we most likely received that many from our parents by the time we were one week old.
What about that first romantic kiss we gave or received? I can’t say that I remember that one either but I must have liked it as I've not stopped kissing since. I do remember my first serious romance but again... not that first kiss.
I do however remember my first kiss from my wife Carol.
I have to say I was really surprised by that kiss, she being pure, I assumed she practiced a lot with her pillow. 😘
I can not imagine a world without kisses nor would I want to live in a world without romantic/loving kisses.
The month of November has always been a month to reflect upon what we are thankful for and over many years I've posted many tributes but I wanted this one, my first thankful post of November 2024 to be unique but true. I thank Debe Maxwell, CRS for this years challenge. You can read others posts in regards to this challenge here .
