Waiting for rates to improve could be a costly mistake. When single family residential homes are in high demand and inventory is low, and there are more buyers than houses for sale, as soon as the market corrects and rates improve, there will potentially be more buyers with fewer houses to bid on, and may be offering to pay more than list price. The seller's goal is to get as much money as they can. That is what typically happens during a Seller's Market. If you're goal is to buy before the end of the year, now is the time to buy!

Home prices continue to rise. Ten hottest markets are listed below:

  1. Dallas-Fort Worth
  2. Lake Highlands in Dallas
  3. Frisco
  4. Dallas 75220
  5. Lake Dallas
  6. Southlake
  7. Plano
  8. *Flower Mound
  9. Denton
  10. Grapevine

*Number of homes sold in Flower Mound:

    • September 2024: Down 3.4% for Zip Code 75022
    • Down 6.02% for September sales for Zip Code 75028.

    • Medium home sales prices Down for 75028, $510,000.

The Flower Mound market is very active and hot. Time to sell a home, days on market are down and prices are up. Waiting will only cost more.
