The Grass Is Greener Where You Water It.
Family and friend relationships can suffer when a person yearns for what someone appears to have elsewhere, thinking it's better. The well known quote comes to mind: "The grass is always greener on the other side."
Experiences in life often teach us that is not the case. Not even close! Nurture what is before you, pay attention, take other people's feelings into consideration before a life altering decision is made and there's no turning back.
Avoid coveting what is not yours personally or professionally, build and maintain your own. Even if eventually attained at the cost of other people, it most likely will not give the higher level of satisfaction desired upon arrival!
A neglected lawn will surely dry up, wither and die or become weed infested. Relationships fade as well. Keep in mind, the grass is always greener where you water it. So, mind your own and watch it grow and flourish!
