The holiday shopping season is approaching and seems to arrive earlier every year. Halloween is now a distant memory, and Thanksgiving is just 2 weeks away.
That means the 15th annual Small Business Saturday in Carlsbad Village is coming soon.
The first Saturday after Thanksgiving is the traditional day to support small businesses throughout the US. And there are abundant opportunities at our Carlsbad Village retailers to #shopsmall.
Many residents, and visitors, support small businesses in Carlsbad already but this is special opportunity! And with the holiday shopping season upon us, that’s good news.
Mark your calendar to #ShopSmall in Carlsbad Village on Saturday November 30th. You’ll probably be surprised at the variety our Carlsbad Village businesses have to offer, especially if you haven’t spent much time there. There are plenty of options for your holiday shopping.
The Carlsbad Village Association will be sponsoring a Small Business Saturday Celebration from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. Check in at the Carlsbad Village Association booth at the corner of Grand Avenue and State Street and receive a reusable tote bag and swag giveaways, while supplies last.
You’ll also want to grab a free raffle ticket to participate in the “Giveaway Tree” drawings. There will be almost $2000 in restaurant gift cards and retail gift cards. Multiple winners will be texted every 30 minutes between 11:30 and 3:30. Prizes must be claimed by 4:00 pm at the CVA booth.
In addition to all the Village stores, there are multiple service providers - day spas, restaurants, art galleries, wine stores, and more. Who knows what specials you’ll find.
You will also enjoy live piano music with Robert Parker.
Small Business Saturday 2024 is an awesome opportunity to spend time in Carlsbad Village and do some holiday shopping, plus support the small business movement in Carlsbad. You can expect lots of local merchants will take part, with discounts and specials to entice you!
