Welcome to Bouchelle Island. This tropical island is nestled along the Halifax River, right off of state route 44 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
As soon as you pull in you will notice the beautiful tropical landscaping. No High-rise buildings here with concrete yards. Bouchelle Island offers fragrant and colorful flowers, with plenty of grass, sidewalks, and even a 3100 foot long boardwalk along the intracoastal for those lazy Florida walks. Watch the dolphins jump and play, along with the other marine wildlife, or sit and drop a line in, see what you'll catch.
There are boat slips, wet or dry docks available for rent, with an easy boat launch area, and an area to rinse and clean the catch of the day. These slips are available to condo owners, and long term renters.
On Bouchelle Island you will find two sparkling pools, with covered areas from the hot Florida sun, grills for barbeques, and a hot tub in the main pool. There is also an 18 hole
Pitch and putt golf course that winds through the island. Play tennis? We have wonderfully lighted tennis courts, and of course the favorite past time of all, shuffle board.
Now let's talk about the units available here. DiMucci Development has brought to the island large 2 and 3 bedroom condominiums (1800-2090 sq ft). Constructed with your safety in mind, DiMucci development brought the strict building codes of building on the ocean to Bouchelle Island. Concrete block construction, poured concrete between floors, and common walls, and wind resistant windows, make DiMucci buildings very desirable.
Along the river there are mainly 2 bedroom 2 bath units. These are about 1100 sq. ft.
with million dollar views. These were built in the mid 1970's when condo's were not popular. They are wood framed construction, with stucco coating over the top. The charm of these units will grab you as soon as you walk in the door. The views you get are just breathtaking.
There is nothing around here that even compares to the ambiance this community has to offer, and owning a condominium on Bouchelle Island should be your next investment.
