There have been a lot of stories in the news lately about the cost of home owner's insurance and how the impacts of global warming and the increase of property destroying weather events have impacted the cost home ownership. Home warranties are another type of insurance available to homeowners. They are generally one-year policies that cover appliances and systems in the home. And just like all insurance, if you need it, it feels like a good investment. If you don't need it - not so much.
