November is a month to be grateful. The weather and clocks have changed, and the leaves have changed colors and are falling. It is my favorite time of year, and everything is so beautiful. I am grateful that I live in an area where the seasons change. I can see Mother Nature at its best. The colors are so vibrant I take a deep breath and am thankful to be alive .. I know that soon, all the beautiful colors will turn grey, but that is alright because, for now, I will enjoy them.
I love the clothes of Fall. It is not hot, and it is not cold, as Goldie Locks says in The Three Bears' Story; it is just right. Pants and a sweater with maybe a blazer. Perhaps you just want to wear jeans, a tee, and a jacket. Throw on a pair of sneakers or boots. Of course, a few think it is still summer and are still wearing sandals, but to each his own. Scarecrows, Mums, and Pumpkins are the decor.
The stovetops are cooking our favorite dishes. As we said, we are all taking time off to get ready for the Thanksgiving Holidays next week. What unique dishes are we cooking, or are we making reservations? Were we invited to family or friends . The smells of Thanksgiving cooking and the memories it brings of childhood family members and friends are with us, if only in spirit. Yes, This is my favorite Time of Year. I am so thankful for all I have. I am grateful to live where seasons change.
This is my second entry of gratitude to Debe Maxwell, CRS AR Challenge
