When it comes to Thanksgiving pies, different states have their own unique takes on this beloved dessert. From the classic pumpkin pie to the pecan pies 
to apple pies, pie preferences across the USA are as diverse as the landscapes themselves. Some states lean into local flavors like key lime or cherry, while others stick to staples like apple or sweet potato. And then there are those states who like their cream pies, peanut butter pies, buttermilk pies, even a grape pie. Whether your state’s signature slice is sweet, tart, or decadently nutty, there’s no denying that pie is the universal language of Thanksgiving celebration.
