Today I'm addressing cranberry sauce. Do you prefer the canned whole cranberry or regular canned cranberry sauce?  Or do you make home made cranberry sauce?

Here's my recipe for whole cranberry orange sauce:

2 packages of whole fresh cranberries

3/4 cup orange juice (i prefer pulp)

1 cup of brown sugar, you could use white sugar or dark brown sugar

1 orange, juiced and zested or 2-3 Manderine oranges, peeled and cut into pieces. You could also use pears or apples or all three.

1 teaspoon of cinnamon.

Heat the orange juice and stir in sugar until dissolved. Add the cinnamon. heat and stir until dissolved. Add cranberries and stir until cooked (cranberries will open up when done). Stir in the other fruit. Remove from heat and put in a serving bowl or two.  Cool. You can make this a day ahead if you want.

Hello Dee, my wife makes it fresh every year and I am just not a fan of it but will not tell her.  I want room for the turkey

Hi Dee,
I never cared for cranberry sauce, but my husband did, so I always made it fresh for him.  Your recipe sounds good.
